I want to say a HUGE thank you to the businesses and organizations that offer these awards.  It is an incredible honor to be selected for them, (actually, I still can't believe I have been!), but the added joy that comes from these is that the media attention these awards seem to generate also brings in MUCH NEEDED donations to fund our program.  AstroTots couldn't function without these donations, and we are very grateful to have our project supported by such amazing organizations.

National

American Eagle Live Your Life Winner

This amazing contest brought AstroTots a $25,000 donation which will enable us to share our mission with girls all over the world!  AE flew me to Pittsburgh for an amazing weekend of interviews, photo shoots and the opportunity to meet some of the most inspiring kids in the world.  It was a life changing experience and I will never be able to thank them enough.  American Eagle ROCKS OUT LOUD!

Guardian Insurance Girls Going Places Award

I am so excited to have won a scholarship in this amazing program!  Guardian Insurance recognizes the efforts of girls who show signs of financial entrepreneurship.  I consider this a really special honor.  Thanks Guardian!

Disney Adventure Magazine All-Star of the Year!

This is so exciting!  AstroTots has been selected as Disney Adventure Magazines' service project of the year!  I will be flying to L.A. and get to do a service project with the cast of the Disney Channel's "Suite Life With Zack And Cody!"

Youth Venture Team

It is a thrill to have our team selected as a Youth Venture Team.  We received outstanding training material and $1,000 to help us expand our project to other areas of science.

Astrotots was honored in this amazing awards program.  We received a huge bundle of Microsoft products to help us with our business that are already being put to great use!  Thanks Microsoft!

Kmart Class Act

AstroTots was selected as a Grand Prize Winner in this cool promotion.  I just came home from an AMAZING trip to NYC where I was treated like a princess or something.  It included an incredible photo shoot with a real NYC fashion photographer, a trip to MTV's TRL, a Broadway show, mountains of great stuff and tons more!  I'll update more later.  I will have links to picture and the Kmart website by the end of July.  KMART ROCKS!

Nick News with Linda Ellerbee

In September 2005 Nick News flew out and filmed a project of mine for Nick News with Linda Ellerbee!  It aired in November.  This was so much fun because they filmed at my school and everything.  Thanks Nick!

Americas Future Rocks Today!!! 2005 Presidential Inauguration of President George W. Bush

I was asked to attend the Presidential Inauguration and speak about AstroTots at the AMAZING Rock Concert - America's Future Rocks Today.  They showed a video about my project right before Hillary Duff's performance (which really rocked the house!).  This was the biggest thrill of my whole entire life!  Links to pictures are coming as soon as we get the official White House Photos.

Do Something

AstroTots has been selected as a finalist for "The Do Something BRICK Awards!!  They have also printed an article in their AWESOME print magazine - Do Something, The Magazine. 

Nestle’s Very Best in Youth 2003

Award ceremony over a 4 day weekend in LA. $1000 award donated to Utah Astro Camp. Nestle arranged for me to meet Dr. Sally Ride. I prepared and gave the introduction for her presentation at the Nestle headquarters for a group of 600 people. My experience at Nestle changed my life!

Prudential Spirit of Community Award

Award Ceremony  in Washington, D.C.  $1,000 award and a Silver Medal. 4 Day trip and tour of all of America's national monuments.

AT&T Youth Service Award & Grant

Received a $500.00 grant for -  AstroTots, Space Camp for Little Dippers camp for girls ages 4-10.

State Farm Good Neighbor Grant

Received a $500 grant

The Children's Museum of Utah

AstroTots will be featured on a panel in the new Gateway facility in a display about making a difference!  This facility will open in the fall and I will put links to the big event on the website at that time.  This is so cool!

Chosen "Best Individual Volunteer In Utah" for 2003.  Awarded a Gold Medal & Black Tie Dinner.

Honored on the Floor of the Utah House of Representatives

Service efforts have generated letters of commendation from many of Utah's government officials including Senator Orrin Hatch, Senator Robert Bennett, Congressman Rob Bishop & Representative Adams.
